Hi and welcome to our RMB Belly Ringer Series! Our fifth interview is with Miss. Danielle Bouskila!
Miss. Danielle Bouskila is an Australian international model. At an early age, her heart was set on to become a model. Through her experience and hardships, she continues working hard for her competitions, photo-shoots and recently winning Miss. Global Israel in 2016!
Miss. Danielle Bouskila reached out to us, wanting to be part of our RMB Belly Ringer profile. She wants to inspire others to pierce theirs with her belly piercing experience. She loves to add a sparkle wherever she goes and a belly ring definitely does that!
1) What/Who inspired you to pierce your belly?
I always wanted to get a piercing or two when I was younger and I fell in love with the belly ring piercing the most. Possibly due to growing up during the whole Spice girls, Brittney and Xtina period. So when I turned 16 (after discussing it with my parents of course), my best friend and I went together and both got our bellies pierced.
2) Did the piercing hurt and how was the aftercare?
The piercing itself did not hurt as I used a numbing patch prior. The aftercare was normal as well, the only thing I remember was at first when sitting (crunching the abs) it felt a little weird but you definitely get over that quickly!
3) How many belly rings do you have and which ones are your favorite?
I have many belly rings. I just love the extra sparkle it can add to an outfit! My favourite would have to be a dangling silver sparkle design kind of belly ring, like the one I have from RingMyBelly!
4) We also noticed that you are an international model and won series of contests and a finalist at Ms. Star International Australia 2018! What was your best experience that made you pursue your passion as a model?
Modeling has always been a dream of mine, probably like most other girls out there. I was always shy until I went through some hard life experiences which taught me to embrace life every day and just go out and achieve my dreams. Not to let other negative opinions hold me back from my true potential.
5) To anyone who wants to pierce their belly, what would you tell them?
Do it, you only live once! You will not regret it but just be careful with how you maintain it during the aftercare period and throughout!
