Miss. Dana Marie is a fitness trainer, nutrition counselor, and returned to being a professional model. We start with her inspiration behind getting her belly piercing, advocate for fitness, the aftercare, and the fun aspects of accessorizing with belly rings alongside her daughters who also have belly piercings! Miss. Dana Marie loves her belly piercing and we have the pleasure of sharing her insights with her belly piercing and motivation for others to wear belly rings.

“I am a 57 year old mother of 6. One boy, 5 girls ( all 5 girls have belly piercing). I have worked out my whole life after becoming a fitness trainer and nutrition counselor.”

2. Did the piercing hurt and how was the aftercare?
“My piercing did not hurt at all nor was the aftercare a problem. Keep in mind I gave birth to 6 kids so I might have a high pain threshold but idk (lol)”
3. What’s your favorite aspect of wearing a belly ring?
“A belly button ring piercing has been with me for as long as I can remember and I have more rings than I can count. I love long dangling ones now as I have returned to professionally model as a 50 plus model a few years ago.
I love to adorn my fit belly with beautiful rings!“
“I am so in favor of belly piercings. I even had all my five girls’ belly pierced. None of them said theirs hurt either. Some were pierced as young as 13. I noticed they sat a little taller and seemed more confident in summer outfits that showed there waistline and belly ring. Every year for Christmas each one receives 2-3 new rings in their stockings. They love it!”
4. To anyone who wants to pierce their belly, what would you tell them?
“People may not be aware that in many cultures belly button piercings can symbolize many things. They represent strength, fertility and even courage. Getting piercings has been something that both men and women partake in. They are popular due to how people exude confidence and enhanced self-esteem. I personally feel a bit more sexy wearing them.” 😊
