Hi and welcome to our RMB Belly Ringer series. Our thirteenth interview is with the inspiring Miss. Cruz!

Miss. Cruz is a fitness advocate who expresses her passion everyday. Her commitment to advocating for self-love and confidence through exercise, or any of her fitness regimen brings positive influence on her family and anyone around her, including us!

Miss. Cruz was delighted to share her experience with her favorite piercing, and how it is very fun to accessorize a belly piercing that brings out your own unique style!

1) What/who inspired to pierce your belly?

I always wanted a belly ring but my parents were too strict and did not allow me to get one. After I turned 21 and was out of the house, I went with my girlfriend to get my belly piercing. 🙂

2) Did the piercing hurt and how was the after care?

No, the piercing did not hurt. It felt like a little sting but no pain. The after care was pretty easy. Much easier than my ear piercings.

3) How many piercings do you have and which one is your favorite?

I have 11 piercings and my favorite would have to be my belly piercings. I think the belly is a very sensual part of a female and when you can accessorize it, it makes it even sexier!

4) You are also a fitness advocate, becoming an inspiring person that positively influence others to reach their goals. What motivates you to be very passionate about fitness?

Life and my kids are my motivation! Fitness helps me cope with stress, work, home, and life in general. Having 2 kids has never been an excuse for me, on the contrary it’s pushed me to be the best I can be so I can set an example for both of them. It’s a daily struggle and yes it takes a lot of discipline and work and yes I have my days where I fall off the wagon but I make sure to get up and keep pushing. The only obstacle is yourself and your mindset. I want my kids to look at me and take away my discipline, my persistence, my work ethic and most importantly that the sky is the limit!!!!

5) To anyone who wants to pierce their belly, what would you tell them?

I would say if it makes you feel good, go for it! I think that any body art is an expression of oneself!
